World of Tanks Modern Armor is a free-to-play MMO that puts you at the center of action-packed PvP and PvE tank battles. Command over 1,000 authentic tanks, from WWII's iconic Sherman to the Cold War’s M1 Abrams. Built for the Xbox 360, World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition brings team-based tactical action and free-to-play accessibility to Xbox Live gamers.
The title will be digitally downloadable and free-to-play for Gold and Silver Xbox Live gamers. (Silver members can play the game for free for seven days.) It'll feature revamped controls, matchmaking, a new user interface and features that take advantage of the Xbox 360's features. The game will also feature in-game purchases for consumables, premium tanks, and premium accounts.
Fans interested in participating inthe upcoming beta test can now sign up.
Beta participation is currently limited to only the residents of the United States and Canada age 13 and over but will be expanding to other territories in a few weeks. Location is determined by your IP address at the time of completing of the application.
