Letting gamers plug in a real guitar and casually strum along with their favorite songs or master the techniques of the world's most iconic guitarists, BandFuse: Rock Legends gives players the chance to experience their favorite songs like never before.

BandFuse: Rock Legends will change the way the way people play, interact and think about the music gaming genre. Whether you have never held a guitar before, or you are already playing in a band, BandFuse will have you rockin’ with your favorite songs in minutes. BandFuse connects real guitars and microphones to your game console unleashing a full band experience for players of all skill levels.

A unique interface using animated tablature will simplify music for beginners, showing them where to put their fingers and when to hit the strings. Experienced guitarists will be challenged to master solos and advanced techniques, playing along with songs exactly as recorded by the original artists.

Seamlessly connecting real guitars, basses and microphones to game consoles, BandFuse empowers players to jam to a fully unlocked library of hit songs from rock to metal and punk to funk, featuring 55 massive genre-jumping songs from Slash, Maroon 5, Rush, The Strokes, Heart, Pearl Jam and more. The game’s exclusive four-player co-op mode enables players to play music together by connecting two guitars, one bass, and a microphone simultaneously, providing each player with detailed feedback from the BandFuse: Rock Legends analytics engine.

The unique BandFuse: Rock Legends animated tablature (tabs) interface simplifies the learning process for novice musicians while enabling advanced musicians to perform songs as the artists intended. All players will benefit from Shred U mode, a simple-to-use, comprehensive training tool with a vast selection of instructional tutorial videos from several rock legends including Slash, Bootsy Collins, Zakk Wylde, George Lynch, and Five Finger Death Punch. Along with the legend videos, players will have a host of drills, scales and the ability to tweak song settings allowing mastery of even the most challenging songs.

BandFuse: Rock Legends players can also create original content from scratch or select from a diverse set of backing tracks for accompaniment to record and play back for friends and family.

GameStop customers who buy BandFuse: Rock Legends between February 19 to March 28 will receive an exclusive code to download Jimi Hendrix’s hit “Foxey Lady (Live from the Miami Pop Festival).” The track will be available in the BandFuse: Rock Legends’ Music Store while quantities last.

Players who redeem the free DLC code will be able to play “Foxey Lady (Live from the Miami Pop Festival)” on guitar, bass, and vocals, in single-player or as a band. Players have the choice of five difficulty levels including the full lead and rhythm transcriptions and can view specially selected Jimi Hendrix video footage while playing.

“We are pleased to partner with Realta Entertainment to offer both gaming and music fans of all ages this GameStop exclusive,” said Marianne Kee, senior merchant for GameStop. “This offer allows Bandfuse: Rock Legends fans a chance to learn and play guitar riffs just like those captured in the live performance of Jimi Hendrix playing his classic hit ‘Foxey Lady’ at the Miami Pop Festival.”

“Foxey Lady (Live from the Miami Pop Festival)” joins the two other Hendrix DLC songs “Fire” and “Love or Confusion” from the album Are You Experienced (1967), as part of 15 signature songs from the legend’s catalogue coming to BandFuse: Rock Legends in 2014.
