Ninja Pizza Girl is a platformer where, due to urban congestion, the only one way of delivering a pizza across town in twenty minutes or less is by … underpaid teenage ninjas!

Ninja Pizza Girl features Gemma, a teenager who works for her father's struggling pizza delivery company in a world where pizza delivery has been taken over by monolithic corporations. The game chronicles her struggles to overcome self-doubt, the struggles of maintaining friendships and mastering the ability to drop-kick ninjas from great heights.

The tasty slice of the game is covered in an old-school action platforming-flavours across two complete missions, a nutritious “health” system that tracks Gemma’s self esteem, delectable comic cutscenes (hand-drawn by an authentic teenage girl), and a fresh storyline that’s thought-provoking and funny. AND NO ANCHOVIES.

Disparity Games have set a modest goal of $35,000 to help fund the completion of the game, which will be coming to PC, Mac, iOS, Android, Wii U and other platforms to be announced. Backers have the opportunity to help steer the course of the game through access to the supporter-only forums, get exclusive merchandise and even have their likeness immortalised as a character in the game’s story. No matter what your choice of toppings, backing Ninja Pizza Girl will delight your gaming tastebuds.

“Our entire family has been involved in the creation of Ninja Pizza Girl”, said Nicole Stark, character designer and animator, “From code, design, art and testing the game is a real family affair, and now we want to bring the fantastic people who support us into the family as we complete the game.”
