'Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution' (ALL) Gets Competitive With Storm League

by Rainier on July 2, 2014 @ 2:25 a.m. PDT

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution contains tons of new techniques, a never-before-seen number of playable characters and a new character designed by Naruto’s author: Masashi Kishimoto!

Stunning anime visuals and fluid 3D ninja fighting action come together once again for the largest and most explosive Ultimate Ninja Storm game yet.  Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution features brand new gameplay mechanics including devastating Combo Ultimate Jutsu attacks, allowing characters to combine their honed powers to create powerful techniques to bring opponents to their knees.

The game features the brand new single player mode called Ninja World Tournament Mode, where players will be able to battle in 4-ninja free-for-all battles in increasingly challenging missions.  With a roster reaching 100 playable characters spanning the entire Naruto and Naruto Shippuden anime arcs, there are sure to be characters that fit everyone’s play style.  A brand new character designed by Naruto manga creator Masashi Kishimoto also makes an appearance in Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution.

Players will also be able to unlock the secrets behind the creation of the deadly Akatsuki.  The game will feature original animation interwoven into CyberConnect2’s stylized ninja action combat chronicling the birth of the Akatsuki.  Fans will also have the rare opportunity to play as Orochimaru in his Akatsuki costume, while Deidara, Hidan, Kakuzu, and Sasori will have brand new pre-Akatsuki outfits designed by Naruto series creator Masashi Kishimoto.

Ever wondered if your skills as Naruto were good enough to claim the top spot? Looking for the best place to fight the finest players and improve your mastery of Sasuke?

Bandai Namco Games Europe decided to give fans an answer to all those questions! To do so, the leading developer and publisher decided to take advice from Electronic Sports League. When it comes down to Online Leagues, ESL has a massive proven record of huge successes such as the ESL Leagues, Intel Extreme Masters and the newly born ESL One.

The latest Bandai Namco Games Europe project, Storm League, will give the players the opportunity to create their own tournaments thanks to a simple-to-use dedicated website. Finding players and creating competitions will never be this easy:
