Microsoft made a splash at E3 2015 earlier this year when it announced that Xbox 360 backwards compatibility was coming to Xbox One this November, but it has been relatively mum on specific titles. November is right around the corner though and it looks like someone at SEGA may have jumped the gun.
The XBLA title SEGA Vintage Collection: Streets of Rage unexpectedly appeared on the Xbox One store this afternoon, complete with Xbox 360 box art. It has an official release date of November 3, 2015 according to the store page, but if you are in the preview program and already own the game it can be downloaded immediately. If you don't own it, you can purchase it via Xbox.com and then download to your Xbox One.
The collection is an excellent emulation of the original Genesis games and playing them on the Xbox One is a bit of a technical marvel as the Xbox One is emulating an Xbox 360 which is in turn emulating a Genesis running the game code.
