Bombshell is a top-down action role-playing game where you, as Shelly “Bombshell” Harrison, strong-arm you way across 4 planets in an galactic adventure to the save the U.S. President from an apocalyptic alien threat.

With out-of-this-world enemies, a never-before-seen arsenal of devastating weaponry and a variety genre-crossing mechanics, Bombshell (powered by the Unreal Engine) is set to completely blow you away.

Shelly “Bombshell” Harrison, bomb technician turned mercenary for hire. A fierce gunslinger with a personality as powerful as her mechanical arm, Shelly Harrison is set to blow her enemies away with skill and style.

Shelly lost her arm and her squad after failing to disarm an otherworldly bomb in what became known as “The Washington Incident.” Held responsible for the explosion, Shelly was discharged from the Global Defence Force and later approached by a private military contractor with the promise of a second chance: an arm constructed from technological remnants found in the wake of the incident.

“We wanted to pack as much value for players into our Digital Deluxe edition as we possibly could” said 3D Realms CEO Mike Nielsen. “For a few extra bucks, you’re getting a bad-ass soundtrack, a hi-res digital art book, BETA access to a nostalgia-inducing Bombshell FPS Prequel game, and more.”

"Over the last several weeks, we’ve been exhaustively testing Bombshell to get it ready for ship. Unfortunately, and honestly, the game isn’t entirely bug free at this point. Our first instinct was to just get this puppy out-the-door, and that we could fix the remaining issues with a quick patch after launch. But within ten seconds we realized that’s no way to treat paying fans of our games. "

"As painful as this is to say, we’ve made the command decision to move our release date out a bit. This will give us the time to polish the game that we know you all deserve, and the team here is raring to put in the hours necessary and get sh*t done!," said Team Interceptor 's Frederik Schreiber

The Bombshell Digital Deluxe Edition includes the Official Bombshell Soundtrack by Andrew Hulshult (digital copy), digital art book & world map overviews, and early BETA access to the Bombshell FPS Prequel, a retro-style first-person shooter that will be sold separately in 2016.

Follow the events leading up to Shelly “Bombshell” Harrison’s explosive encounter with Professor Jadus Heskel that cost her her arm, her squad, and her reputation in a retro-style first-person shooter - built in the classic 90’s era Build Engine known from Duke Nukem 3D and Shadow Warrior. Then head online for some oldschool competitive multiplayer, Bombshell-style! PC gamers get early access to the BETA when you purchase the Bombshell Digital Deluxe Edition on Steam or GOG.com.

Bombshell is a digital-exclusive title that will MSRP in the U.S. at $34.99, with the Bombshell Digital Deluxe Edition MSRP at $39.99.

Follow Bombshell’s quest for redemption as she fights through surreal alien worlds to rescue the President and save Earth using a growing array of special skills. With her own techtree upgrades, destructive weaponry and fierce combat abilities, Bombshell and her countless arm configurations make her the perfect soldier to stop the Kyrr, an evil alien race lead by diabolical scientist turnedmadman Jadus Heskel.

Bombshell never lets up. Fast-paced shooting, roleplaying style mechanics and an exciting story evoke a level of depth and intensity the genre has never seen before. Bombshell blends first-person shooting controls with an isometric perspective, empowering the player to save the world with deadly speed and accuracy.
