Halfway between the crazy universe from Jet Set Radio, the interactivity of Mirror's Edge and inspired by movies like the 5th Element or Star Wars ; "Hover: Revolt of Gamers" takes place in another world where you're in charge of a band of Gamers revolting against anti-video-games laws oppressing the city.

You'll have to free the citizen restrained by authorities, localize and then infiltrate anti video games propaganda control centers, retrieve gaming consoles confiscated from the population to overthrow the new Mayor, who is the cause of this mess.

You can join your friends online at any time and progress throughout the adventure in their company, whether you are cooperating or working against them. Participate in races created in real time by the community as well. Wherever you are and what you are doing in the city, running around or in the middle of a mission, it'll be possible to connect to a server, instantly switching to multiplayer.

Hover : Revolt of Gamers is coming to Steam Early Access on April 6th 2015 with Oculus Rift compatibility at launch.  

With a complete tutorial you will be able to explore the half of Hover City at the start of the Early Access, including many missions, races, a rich multiplayer system and a complete mission editor 

You will have to locate and infiltrate control centers of the anti-video games propaganda, free the citizens confined by the authorities, get back the consoles confiscated from the population, and finally dethrone the new Great Administrator at the origin of this whole mess. Many security drones are patrolling city so be alert to the risk of being chased, and be prepared to shake off them.  

Each Gamer you recruit in your team is playable and the experience gained can be used to upgrade their stats.  

You will be able to switch into the multipayer mode just by connecting to a server, cooperate with other players in missions or challenge them in fully configurable events.
