Each unique island is randomly created and ready for players to explore, harness abilities and forge items into endless possibilities to create new character classes.

Izle players will use terraforming to build their own unique island worlds.  Players will acquire new items and abilities and combine them into endless possibilities to create their very own class.  But with great freedom comes great responsibility, and if not defended, the kingdom will be shattered by the forces of shadows!

Players will embark on a journey to rebuild the last world of light striving to complete quests and unlock terraforming powers that allow them to create procedurally generated islands.  Adventure awaits as players must gather “Shards of Light” and choose between defending their world or crafting powerful artifacts to improve their character. Izle is more than choices: it’s the infinite freedom to create a player’s own unique world and the great responsibility of protecting it! 

With terraforming powers, players will create floating island worlds filled with rolling hills and procedural dungeons, impenetrable castles, treacherous volcanoes, underground ice caves and so much more which can either be modified or destroyed.  Entire kingdoms will be created or shattered based on a player’s success. The world of Izle will reflect a player’s actions in a unique way! 

Developer Area Effect has launched a kickstarter campaign, looking for $90,000, to finish up development of for Izle (pronounced 'eye-zuhl').

From early alpha access to discounted full game digital copies and a collector's artbook, players have a ton of options to support the team and contribute meaningfully to Izle by writing, sharing and designing stories, items and even entire islands.
