Merging a child’s perception of reality with its wild imagination provides an interesting setting to tell a story. With only your teddy bear as a companion, we hope players will unravel what is actually causing the fear and confusion. There might be threats hiding in every shadow, but there’s no traditional combat. Instead of fighting, players will actively have to find places to hide in the environment, and avoid confrontation to survive.
Regarding the environmental interaction, it's physics based, so you’ll be able to push, pull and climb objects to reach places, open and close doors, make a staircase out of drawers, peek around corners, carry and place small objects, and the list goes on.
Krillbite Studio is so pleased to be able to release the game on Xbox One and we’re looking forward to a great cooperation with Microsoft. Our fans have been super supportive over the years and we’re so lucky to have them. The feedback on the news that we’re coming to Xbox One have been so positive and we’re overwhelmed by the love.
The decision to bring Among the Sleep to Xbox One was made last week at Nordic Game, where the game won Best Artistic Achievement, a huge accomplishment for us and we feel honored and so, so happy.
We don’t have any dates for the releases yet, but we’re working closely with both Microsoft and Sony and will release more information as soon as we have it.
Among the Sleep supports both Occulus Rift and now with the PS4 announcement also Sony's Project Morpheus.
Among the Sleep is currently available on PC and has already sold over 100,000 copies since its release last year.
