Slightly Mad Studios head Ian Bell confirmed that Project CARS is no longer coming to Wii U due to hardware limitations, but hold out hope that Nintendo's next console (the unannounced NX) will be able to accomodate the racing game.

"The official line is that we're awaiting an announcement from Nintendo on new hardware. As of now pCARS is simply too much for the Wii U."
