Call of Duty: Black Ops III is a dark, gritty future where a new breed of Black Ops soldier emerges and the lines are blurred between our own humanity and the cutting-edge military robotics that define the future of combat.

The Black Ops series is the most played in Call of Duty history with nearly 100 million registered players having played Call of Duty: Black Ops and Call of Duty: Black Ops II combined.  For development studio Treyarch, this marks the first time with three-years for development, which has been fully leveraged to bring the Black Ops series to next gen with Call of Duty: Black Ops III.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III delivers a campaign that can be played as a full single player game or co-op online with up to four players, the deepest, most rewarding multiplayer ever offered in Call of Duty, and, a mind blowing Call of Duty Zombies experience that, for the first time, features its own XP progression system.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III will descend on Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, California, with a terrifying experience based on the game’s new Zombies mode, “Shadows of Evil.” For the first time in the park’s history, the wooden coaster Apocalypse will be transformed for Fright Fest (September 26 - November 1), transporting guests to the 1940s Film Noir-inspired Morg City, including zombie encounters and more.

Beginning September 1, 2015, any consumer, 17 years old or older, who pre-orders Call of Duty: Black Ops III at GameStop stores or GameStop.com will receive $10 off admission at Six Flags and a complimentary Fright Fest attraction wristband valued at up to $25. Call of Duty brand ambassadors will also be available in parks during select windows for guests to pre-order during their visit.

In addition, Six Flags will host a national sweepstakes, for the chance to win four 2016 season passes to any Six Flags US Theme Park, and a Call of Duty prize package.

“Our partnership with Activision and the Call of Duty series continues to evolve as this blockbuster brand reinvents itself each year with new story lines and exciting features, and remains one of the most creative and exciting programs Six Flags has developed with a partner around our Fright Fest event,” said Pete Dimitrakopoulos, director of corporate alliances for Six Flags. “The program fully demonstrates how our media networks can be tailored for a specific demographic, and how our partnership model can help raise awareness in our parks and drive fan engagement with a retail partner; we’re thrilled to be partnering with Activision and GameStop on Black Ops III.”

The Call of Duty: Black Ops III campaign deploys players into a future world, where bio-technology coupled with cybernetic enhancements has given rise to a new breed of Black Ops soldier.  Through Direct Neural Interface (DNI) technology, players are now connected to the intelligence grid and their fellow operatives during battle.  In a world more divided than ever, this elite squad consists of men and women who have enhanced their combat capabilities to fight faster, stronger, and smarter.

The most engaging and rewarding multiplayer offering to date debuts a new momentum-based, chained-movement system that allows players to move fluidly through custom-built environments with finesse, all while maintaining complete control over their weapon at all times.Treyarch also introduces its new Specialist system, which lets players choose and rank up nine elite Black Ops soldiers, each with their own look, personality, voice and battle-hardened weapons and abilities, fundamentally changing the way players engage in combat.  Multiplayer is rounded out with an all-new weapon customization system that give players more powerful tools than ever to build and personalize that perfect weapon.
