2K announced that retired football player Thierry Henry will be featured in the upcoming NBA 2K17. As in real life, Thierry Henry will be a regular court side star during home games of the San Antonio Spurs.

In NBA 2K17’s Blacktop mode, where you can play different types of basketball games ranging from 1 vs 1 to 5 vs 5, Thierry Henry is available as a playable character, where you can test his skills against the greatest players of all time.

Beginning at 9:00am PST Friday, November 18 through 11:59pm PST Monday, November 21, Gold members in Xbox One markets will get a special opportunity to explore the world of NBA basketball. With the release of the new patch 1.05, fans will enjoy many game improvements, updated rosters, and more. A few updates include:

• Authenticity improvements to a large number of uniforms
• Post-release shoes will now dynamically appear in your game mode saves when starting a new mode or when using a custom roster created after Oct. 15
