Gameplay focuses on taking out targets in huge and intricate sandbox levels with complete freedom of approach. Where to go, when to strike and who to kill - it is all up to you.
And for the first time Hitman will lead with a digital release inviting players into a world of assassination, from the highly fashionable Paris and sunny coast of Italy to the dust and hustle of the markets in Marrakesh in this creative stealth action game.
"Holiday Hoarders" is a free mission for ALL players that takes place in a festive Paris, which has been overhauled with Christmas trees, snow, decorations and presents.
The mission will be released in support of World Cancer Research Fund and we are asking players to donate whatever they can. It's important for us to say that a donation is not required to enjoy the Holiday Hoarders mission and that all contributions of any amount are appreciated.
“Cancer is something which affects everyone in one way or another at some point in their lives and we at IOI wanted to do something to help raise money for Cancer research,” said Hannes Seifert, Studio Head at Io-Interactive. “We’re supporting World Cancer Research Fund by giving away some fun free Holiday content to all HITMAN players and we ask you in return if you want to donate to a great cause, to give what you can here."
The 'Holiday Hoarders' mission gives a festive feeling to the existing Paris location with snow, decorations and even presents, which have been scattered all around the palace. Unfortunately, not everyone in attendance at the fashion show is there to spread festive joy. Two thieves have gained entrance to the fashion show event and are stealing the presents. As Agent 47, it's your job to stop them, for good. If you are able to get to the presents first, feel free to open them and use whatever you find inside to help eliminate these two sticky bandits...
Holiday Hoarders will be available via a game update on December 13 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
On top of all that, this new mission will add new holiday-specific challenges that offer up an additional reward.
