Metrico is a new world. A living world of infographics, driven by your input. All the bar charts, line diagrams and pie charts react to what the player is doing. One bar diagram might grow for every step you walk to the left, while another could decline with every jump you make. You will have to explore Metrico and carefully analyze your every move to see how it affects the world, and whether it will get you further. This mechanic is called “Input Morphing” and it makes you think about actions you normally don’t think about. There are 6 unique worlds to explore with distinct challenges, mechanics, looks, sounds, and original music by Palmbomen.

Metrico+ is a combination of exploration, skill, experimentation, but most of all: thinking outside of the box.

Last year, the infographic world of Metrico was released exclusively for the Vita and was part of the PlayStation Plus lineup at its launch. Like its predecessor, Metrico+ features unique worlds to explore with distinct challenges, mechanics, looks and sounds; however new worlds and features have been added to replace the worlds reliant on PS Vita exclusive features.  

“The response we got from both the many players and press on the original game for PlayStation Vita was extremely positive, and one of the most heard comments was that people wanted to play the game on platforms other than the Vita as well”, said Digital Dreams Level Designer Roy van de Mortel. “With Metrico+, we can now finally give players the opportunity to experience the world of Metrico on all major platforms, along with new content that is 100% exclusive to this version. Both old and new players are sure to find something to love in this completely redesigned version of Metrico, whether it’s the mechanics, puzzles, visuals or story!

The puzzle adventure game Metrico+ features lots of new content and the visuals have been completely revamped for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Instead of the worlds that use Vita hardware features, there are completely new unique worlds to explore with new mechanics and puzzles for the player to solve.

Dutch synthesizer composer Palmbomen wrote original music specifically for each world in Metrico+. The music is written to completely respond to the way you play the game, and therefore the only way you can listen to his score. There will not be an album released separately.  

Metrico+ will be available on the PlayStation Store, the Xbox One Store and Steam for $13,99 / €13,99.
