'Grand Values: Monaco' (ALL) Making Public Debut At Gamescom - Screens & Trailer

by Rainier on Aug. 4, 2016 @ 8:01 p.m. PDT

Grand Values: Monaco is a third-person stealth adventure where you join Amy and her crew on this colorful tale of her thieving exploits.

Grand Values is a kick ass story-driven 3D stealth game about three young thieves and their descent into danger and infamy against the filthy rich millionaires of Monaco.

Climb over certain death, sneak past the guards, steal from the rich, and save your friends. No problem, right?

Well, there is that slight complication in the form of crime boss Magnus, and the $50 million you have to steal for him, and then there is the small matter of the Monaco locals getting really angry, and wrapping your head around the fact that rebelling against the super-rich and morally questionable has now put you and your friends in very real mortal danger.

But you’ve got 7 days in the perfect city to go on a stealing spree. So that’s a good thing, right? Yeah, you should probably get your butt moving. Luckily they’re in the one place in the world with plenty of targets that are both filthy rich, and morally reprehensible.

Key Features:

  • Stealth: Go all rogue-like, doing that rogue thing very… roguey. You’re no Lara Croft! Why? Well, you’re playing Amy and she’s only small and killing is wrong. Crazy for a video game, but this means to avoid getting caught, you better be smarter than the security guards – luckily, they are more muscle than brains. Don’t worry if you’re a newbie to the genre though, you’ll be able to jump right in there with gameplay accessible for any skill level.
  • Taking Control: So you’ve climbed high across that race track with all the speeding cars, snuck past all those guards, and finally reached the loot. Level won, play cut-scene right? Wrong! We’ve upped the ante by allowing you to take control of Amy’s hands and execute the devilish deed yourself. Takes a little bit to master, but brings something fresh to the genre.
  • Get To Know Some New Friends: Meet Amy, Joe and Frank, our crew of unlikely heroes! Laugh at the one-liners, cheer their victories and sweat with them on their journey against the odds: They need to make $50 million in just a week to escape the wrath of their newly found nemesis, the gangster kingpin Magnus. With thousands of lines of dialogue, sharp cut-scenes and a driving story, you’ll want to keep playing just to find out what happens next.
  • Stunning Surrounds: Unity 5 engine! Motion capture! Smart cameras! Boom! Well… actually there aren’t any explosions, but we don’t need them in a game that looks and sounds this good. Built for PS4 and Xbox One, you’ll enjoy beautifully stylized locations right across Monaco with each offering its own challenges. While doing this you’ll also get a rich soundtrack, an immersive soundscape and you’ll have Frank in your ear helping you out. Joe will probably talk about food a lot. He likes doughnuts.
