'Serial Cleaner' Coming to Steam Early Access Next Week

by Rainier on Sept. 23, 2016 @ 10:01 a.m. PDT

Serial Cleaner is a story-driven, fast-paced stealth/action game, characterized by a 1970s theme and aesthetics.

The protagonist cleans up murder scenes by disposing bodies, covering up blood stains and hiding murder weapons and other incriminating evidence.

Exploring, experimenting and fast paced decision making are the key words here. Getting caught and questioned would put a black mark on the protagonist’s career and the environment is often crawling with itchy-fingered police officers accompanied by nosy bystanders. The game uses Real-World Data to modify gameplay according to the time of day in player’s location.

Serial Cleaner takes a humoristic, slightly macabre approach to its subject matter, and doesn’t treat itself too seriously. Just take a look at the protagonist. He is a 30-ish man with a sharp sense of style and an iconic 70s look, complete with a moustache, large sunglasses, and tight pants.

Serial Cleaner will be available on Steam Early Access for PC, Mac and Linux for USD 9,99 (in the first week players will have the opportunity to buy Serial Cleaner 10% cheaper). Ultimately the price will increase to USD 14,99.

"Serial Cleaner is our biggest and best production so far. The game boasted great feedback at Gamescom and PAX West. We're sure that the Early Access version will help us building interest in the game around the world as well as help us make Serial Cleaner even better, thanks to players' feedback, " explains Michal Mielcarek, iFun4All's CEO.

Key Features:

  • fully realized 1970s-inspired setting
  • just take a look at that art style!
  • the game uses Real-World Data to modify levels accordingly with the current time of day in the player’s whereabouts
  • levels take inspiration from actual 1970s murder scenes
  • humor and atmosphere inspired by Fargo series and Pulp Fiction
  • playful approach to solving each level, which rewards exploration and experimentation
