Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr will be a monumental, brutal and grim experience, undeniably true to the spirit of the Warhammer 40,000 universe.
Building on the experience gained from The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing Action-RPG trilogy, NeocoreGames aims to expand the boundaries of the genre itself by taking the in-game mechanics and visual solutions to a brand new level and also by opening up a persistent sandboxed Action-RPG.
The single player campaign pitches players into a grim and secret war among the stars as the agents of the ever-vigilant Inquisition. After the end of the campaign the story continues in a colossal sandboxed game set in the same secluded sector of this vast universe. This persistent setting grants years of constant entertainment, gradual development and a continuous flow of content that enriches the Action-RPG gameplay.
NeocoreGames and Bigben will be working together on the publishing and worldwide distribution of Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr on Xbox One and PS4.
"Playing as an Inquisitor in a supercharged Action-RPG developed by one of the most talented studios in the genre is a dream come true for all fans of Warhammer 40K! The success of the early access on Steam has confirmed the quality of the game, and we are delighted to give console players the chance to discover this landmark title”stated Benoît Clerc, Head of Publishing at Bigben.
"We are huge fans of the world of Warhammer 40,000 so we will take care of this game with passion. This world is intense, brutal and visceral: it’s a perfect material for an Action RPG"said Zoltán Pozsonyi, producer at NeocoreGames.
Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr is currently on PC through Steam Early Access ($49.99), and is expected in Q1 of 2018 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
