Fate of the World Online puts you in control of a world superpower over the next 100 years of Earth’s history, giving you a graphic insight into what crises may lie ahead of humanity in the years ahead.
“The science clearly explains where our planet’s climate is going. We want to give players the ability to explore what that might mean for the seven billion people who currently live here”, said development director Klaude Thomas.
The game is the sequel to 2011’s classic Fate of the World, which won numerous awards, and also found use in academia, with several universities making use of it educationally.
Soothsayer was formed by team members from the original project, who aim to launch a beta version of the new game on PC, Mac, and tablet in early 2018.
