In Trio of Towns, players cultivate fruit and vegetables while expanding their farm with animals. Explore three different towns, each with their own regional crops, animals, and flavors, in search of new ways to grow your farms and friendships. Players can also connect to one another, locally or via internet, to chat and trade useful items.
In addition to new friendship events, winter outfits, NPC dialogue, and story content, the upcoming Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns “New Neighbors Pack” DLC introduces two new romance candidates: Stephanie the contest MC, and Woofio the contest judge in the dog suit. This includes new friendship and romance events for these characters. Players must download the free Ver. 1.1 update to purchase the DLC package.
The upcoming downloadable content release for its farming and life simulation series, Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns, will become available in North America exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS family of systems via the Nintendo eShop on November 9, 2017 for SRP $7.99.
Additionally, a new Nintendo 3DS custom theme will become available for purchase on the same day for SRP $1.99, alongside a free update featuring various gameplay improvements as well as four new outfits, which include Lest and Frey’s attire from Rune Factory 4.
Extensive customization and gameplay options are on offer in Trio of Towns, with each village offering its own variety of regional crops, lads and ladies to romance, animals, festivals, furniture, decorations and more.
More ways to play sprout up as players connect to one another locally or via the internet to chat, trade, and enhance items on a mysterious multiplayer island.
XSEED Games also revealed that costumes and headgear based on fan-favorite characters Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach and Toad from the Super Mario Bros. franchise will make a special appearance in the game.
