Campaign details
- Running now through October 31, 2017 in all US and Canadian stores, as well as online
- Customers shopping in any GameStop can donate $1, $5, or $10, or "round up" their total bill at checkout (in store / online)
- As a thank you for donating, patrons at GameStop and EB Games stores will receive:
- GameStop PowerUp Rewards members will score triple PowerUp Rewards Points on donation amounts of $1 or more through October 31
- EB Games Edge Rewards members earn 100 bonus Edge Rewards Points on donation amounts of $1 or more through October 31
Make-A-Wish and GameStop Milestones
- Over the past 10 years of their partnership, Make-A-Wish and GameStop have raised over $6 MILLION and granted 2,500 wishes for shopping sprees that included GameStop
- Over 255 in-store GameStop shopping sprees were granted in 2016 alone
- GameStop donates 100% of all monies collected in store at GameStop, ThinkGeek and EB Games Canada stores, and on gamestop.com, directly to Make-A-Wish
Make-A-Wish Milestones
- Make-A-Wish® grants a wish, on average, every 34 minutes.
- In fiscal year 2016, Make-A-Wish granted more than 15,300 wishes, the most ever in its history
- Since its inception in 1980, it has granted more than 285,00 wishes.
- Make-A-Wish chapters serve every community in the US and Canada. In total, there are 70 chapters.
