'Battlefield 1' (ALL) Nivelle Nights Map For All, Operation Campaigns Coming Soon

by Rainier on Nov. 1, 2017 @ 9:52 a.m. PDT

Only in Battlefield 1 will you bring a horse to a tank fight and squad-up with your allies in epic multiplayer battles with up to 64 players.

Through ever-changing environments at the dawn of all-out war, no battle is ever the same.

Battlefield 1 takes you across multiple and varied locations in a bid to fight your way through immersive battles. From tight urban fights in a besieged French city, to big open spaces in the Italian Alps and frantic combats in the deserts of Arabia, discover a world at war through an adventure-filled campaign.

In a true multiplayer sandbox experience, take to the skies and engage in high-octane dogfights through treacherous landscapes, or have a battleship obliterating the coast from the sea, and engage in some of the biggest battles ever seen as empires clash for supremacy.

Set against the backdrop of World War 1, witness the birth of modern warfare, as the Great War saw a furious arms race with new machines and weapons created to get the upper hand during the most technologically divergent war of all time. Feel the intensity and immersion as Battlefield 1 takes advantage of this modern arsenal to deliver the experience fans love, but with a fresh and modern twist.

Just over 100 years ago, in the foggy and cold night of October 23, 1917, the French Battle of La Malmaison began. It was a carefully planned offensive with limited goals, focused on capturing the strategically important and heavily fortified Chemin des Dames ridge. With advanced artillery tactics and tank support, the French forced the Germans to give up the ridge by November 1.

Nivelle Nights available for all Battlefield 1 players

Based on these century-old events, the Nivelle Nights bonus map has been an intense night experience for Battlefield 1 Premium Pass and Battlefield 1 They Shall Not Pass owners since its release. Now, we have an exciting announcement about the map: Nivelle Nights will be made available for all Battlefield 1 players. Requires Battlefield 1 on applicable platform (sold separately), internet connection, EA account, and for console users, an Xbox Live Gold or PlayStation Plus membership (both sold separately).

Starting early November, you can tackle the muddy battlefields around Malmaison and Soupir as the French or German army. Make good use of the moon, the searchlights, and the artillery lighting up the dark night skies.

Enjoy the map – and own the night.

Operation Campaigns coming early November

The new, epic experiences of Operation Campaigns is just around the corner. You can play Eastern Storm, the first Operation Campaign, starting early November.

Operation Campaigns expand on the frontline clashes between attackers and defenders, stringing together multiple Operations and adding unique rewards to the mix.

Eastern Storm combines the Operations from Battlefield 1 In the Name of the Tsar: Brusilov Offensive and Red Tide. Eastern Storm will be available for owners of Battlefield 1 Premium Pass (or the standalone Battlefield 1 In the Name of the Tsar expansion.)
