'Wreckfest' (ALL) Game Music Contest

by Rainier on Nov. 19, 2017 @ 4:10 a.m. PST

Wreckfest is a demolition derby-themed racing game with special attention paid to soft-body damage modeling, sophisticated driving dynamics and in-depth vehicle upgrading, featuring both demolition derbies and more traditional track races.

Have you ever hoped you could get back to the glorious days of Demolition Derby and FlatOut, climb behind the wheel of your banged-up ride and once again wreck your way to the finish line and show who’s the boss? You’re not the only one. Over the years, we’ve been asked thousands of times when are we going to get back to our roots and make another racing game that would capture the same spirit of over-the-top action and reckless racing.

Wreckfest is going to bring those unforgettable moments up-to-date, throw in the mix vehicle upgrading and spice it all up with massive online races where players can battle it out with their tricked out bangers.

Bugbear's Wreckfest is all about fun, breakneck racing and over-the-top crashes. We don’t shy away from contact, and indeed, our in-house engine is all about what happens when cars collide with each other and the world around them at reckless speeds.

It’s motorsport, but not just any motorsport. It’s motorsport with attitude.

Expect epic crashes and tight, neck-to-neck fights over the finish line on run-down racing tracks. Expect proper, big demolition derbies. Expect brand new ways for metal to bend and the defining once-in-the-lifetime moments that can be achieved only with true-to-life physics simulation.

We were looking for ROCK and ELECTRONIC tracks for the coming Wreckfest game. We got hundreds of amazing entries from all around the world. A big thanks to everyone who has participated in this exciting and inspiring contest.

Submissions are now closed, but the funs not over yet!

You can now listen to top notch tracks, and cast your vote. Act fast! The voting ends soon, so best to get those beats blasting right away and jump on to the site for a chance to get a FREE Wreckfest game.

In other news, as you have no doubt noticed for the most part we’ve been flying under the radar since our last update and that’s simply because we’ve been working on the game like there’s no tomorrow, adding new features and content as well as polishing what we already have. We can soon share more details with you but rest assured there’s a plenty of good stuff coming up – loads of new unique cars, a proper career mode with championships, car paint job customization, brand new HUD, greatly improved AI, polished tracks and a lot more – in short, everything that will soon make Wreckfest a complete game.

Stay tuned!
