Settled on a homestead in the middle of three distinct and uniquely themed locales, players can explore a diverse landscape as they search for new ways to grow their farms and friendships.In celebration of the upcoming 20th anniversary of the longest-running farming and life simulation series, the beloved Bokujo Monogatari franchise – now known as Story of Seasonsin the West – returns with its biggest adventure yet in Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns.
In Trio of Towns, players cultivate fruit and vegetables while expanding their farm with animals. Explore three different towns, each with their own regional crops, animals, and flavors, in search of new ways to grow your farms and friendships. Players can also connect to one another, locally or via internet, to chat and trade useful items.
The chatty Lisette loves a good read and runs the family’s flower shop in Westown taking special care into the meaning of each bouquet and selling seeds. Potential mates will be challenged by Kasumi who teaches in Tsuyukusa and is perfectly fine with solitude, even disliking sweets! Komari, also hails from Tsuyukusa but is not the serious type, often complaining about working at her dad’s teahouse, seeking a hobby. The identical twin priestesses Iluka and Siluka work at the seaside café, Carosello. Iluka, who can predict the weather, is curt and often scolds Siluka, who can see auras, for dozing off at work.

XSEED Games also revealed that costumes and headgear based on fan-favorite characters Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach and Toad from the Super Mario Bros. franchise will make a special appearance in the game.
Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns will be released in North America on February 28, 2017 for $39.99.
