WildStar’s iconic visual style and “Momentum Mechanics” immerse players in a deep world stacked with content, challenges and rewards that respond to the play style choices of individual players.  Depending on a combination of faction, race, class and path, WildStar will present gamers with unending surprises, mini-quests and challenges, ensuring that their experiences are fun and fresh.

WildStar takes place on the planet Nexus, a mysterious world vacated by the ancient Elden but left rich with treasures and technologies to discover and acquire.

We’re celebrating the release of the Power of the Primal Matrix update with a new Free 50 Frenzy event!

Just log in after the Power of the Primal Matrix update is released and you’ll have a free character boost available at character creation for you to make a new level 50 character with. This is a one-time use offer, so be extra sure you’re creating the character you want to before finalizing it. Once your free level 50 boost is used, it’s used up forever—no takesy-backsies!

The free character boost offered with the Free 50 Frenzy differs slightly from the paid-for version, but still includes all of the following:

• Full set of Assault (DPS) gear already equipped
• Bag of Support Gear: Full set based on class Support role (tanking/healing)
• Bag of Path Rewards: Stuff you’d normally get for your Path while leveling
• Mount: Something to ride around on!
• Protostar Housing Teleportation Unit: Use this item to transport to your housing plot, and it’ll also give you a Recall ability to get back to your house if you leave it
• Capital City Transmat Coordinates: Use this to add another Recall button, but this one transports you to your capital city

So what’s that mean for returning players or even brand-new ones? Well, it means you can jump right in to WildStar’s in-game content: Prime Expeditions (solo- to 5-player group instances), Prime Dungeons (5-player dungeons that need some class diversity), will be the easiest to dive into for some rewards. Arcterra will have some daily quests, group encounters, dynamic events and even boss fights for 20 or more players, and this will grant you gear upgrades, character unlocks, and vanity rewards. Hit up your capital city to find the directions to the Arcterra shuttle. Daily quest zones of Northern Wastes and Crimson Badlands will have plenty of vanity rewards and solo reputation, while the Star-Comm Basin features public events for 5 or more players.

Finally, hit up Champion’s Corner or Conqueror’s Square for some Contracts that will take you across all of the above content for additional gear upgrades and Protostar Promissory Notes that will boost faction reputation.

Everyone that logs in during the Free 50 Frenzy event can claim their free character boost, but it must be used to create a level 50 character during the promotion period. Be sure to claim it quick as the Free 50 Frenzy event ends at 11:59pm PDT, March 12!
