'Neverwinter' (ALL) Implements Physical/In-Game Rewards System

by Rainier on April 21, 2017 @ 9:22 a.m. PDT

In Neverwinter, players choose to become one of five classic D&D classes and team up with friends or NPCs to form five-person co-op groups. Players also create their own storylines and quests utilizing a user-friendly content generation system.

Players explore the vast city of Neverwinter and its surrounding countryside, learning the vivid history of the iconic city and battling its many enemies. In Neverwinter, players can create their own quests and campaigns with the Foundry, a powerful content creation tool that allows players to seamlessly integrate their adventures in to the live game world.

They might not be the most pleasant-looking creatures, but they are definitely a fierce bunch of savage and bloodthirsty warriors. By plaguing the civilized races, Orcs have always been a major threat to humans, elves and dwarfs. Laying claim to the area in the northern half of the old Tower District, Orcs have made the Cloak Tower in Neverwinter their home. Even the most courageous heroes will have to fight their way through the ruins of this district to put an end to the Orc domination and help restore Neverwinter to her former glory.

Uproar.gg is a Gamer Reward website where players can win real-life prizes for playing their favorite games, and have partnered with Perfect World Entertainment to feature Neverwinter as an Uproar.gg offering. Uproar.gg is completely free to join and registered gamers can earn points just for playing popular games like League of Legends, Smite, and Destiny, with many more games being added soon.

CEO Charlie Meaden explained the rapid expansion of Uproar.gg: "When we think about Uproar, we mainly consider one question - How can we help games become more successful? The answer is simple: Give users more sense of purpose and provide tools so that communities can grow and become thriving hubs of like-minded gamers."

Gamers who register on Uproar.gg can earn points by completing particular in-game objectives and/or interacting in the Uproar community. They can then use their earnings to enter raffles to win merchandise such as gaming peripherals from Razer and SteelSeries, in-game currency, special skins, gift cards, and more.

In addition, Uproar will also be regularly posting gaming event and tournament details on a global scale along with game updates and eSports information. Uproar users can join existing communities on the site or create their own communities based on their particular game interests.
