As the new junior deputy of fictional Hope County, Montana, players will find that their arrival accelerates a years-long silent coup by a fanatical doomsday cult, the Project at Eden's Gate, igniting a violent takeover of the county.Confirmed in last week's financials, Ubisoft has revealed that Far Cry 5 will be set in Hope County, Montana.
While Hope County is still a fictional location, the teaser trailer indicates it will be set during more modern times then the previous installment.
