by Rainier on Nov. 10, 2018 @ 3:50 p.m. PST

Xbox One is Microsoft's all-in-one gaming and entertainment system that puts you at the center of all your games, TV, movies, music, sports and Skype.

Xbox Game Pass is Microsoft's digital gaming subscription service that gives you unlimited access to over 100 Xbox One and Backward Compatible Xbox 360 games for $9.99 USD per month.

With Xbox Game Pass, you can download and play a broad range of games in full fidelity on your Xbox One.

Each month, Xbox Game Pass will add a new set of games to the catalog so there is always something new to play across a diversity of experiences, genres, ratings and more. For gamers, this means endless play of full-fidelity gaming experiences without having to worry about streaming, bandwidth or connectivity issues.

Having a diverse catalog of games is important to Xbox Game Pass members so today, we are excited to announce new blockbuster games becoming available in time for the holidays, including PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG), the definitive battle royale experience, pitting 100 players against each other in a struggle for survival across a variety of thrilling and immersive environments. PUBG will be available to all members beginning on November 12.

We are also excited to bring unique gaming experiences like Ori and the Blind Forest, Kingdom Two Crowns and Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice to Xbox Game Pass this December. If you’re like us and can’t wait to check out more new games ahead of December, Thief of Thieves is officially available on Xbox One and in Xbox Game Pass starting today. We’re also bringing Agents of Mayhem, MXGP3 and Thomas Was Alone to you starting on November 22.

Microsoft also announced additional new games from independent developers launching through the ID@Xbox program that will come to Xbox Game Pass the very same day they debut on Xbox One.  Starting this holiday, this list includes Aftercharge, Supermarket Shriek, Mutant Year Zero, Pathologic 2, The Good Life, Void Bastards, and Secret Neighbor.

We were also thrilled to confirm that Ori and the Will of the Wisps will be available in Xbox Game Pass timed to its global release on Xbox One and Windows 10 PC in 2019.

Based on your feedback, we’ve also been hard at work finding the best ways to make Xbox Game Pass games easier to discover. Starting today, the Xbox Game Pass app is officially available on iOS and Android, bringing the latest gaming content right to your fingertips. The Xbox Game Pass app enables you to seamlessly discover and download your next favorite game to your home console via your mobile device, so you can quickly jump into gameplay the next time you turn on your Xbox One. It’s that easy. To get the Xbox Game Pass app, simply head to the Apple App Store or Google Play, tap install and follow the directions for setup. You’ll also want to ensure that you set your Home console to “Instant-On” and enable remote installations in your Xbox One Settings menu, so that you can take advantage of remote downloads while you’re away.

Because we believe Xbox Game Pass provides such great value to gamers and we want you to all try it out, we have an exciting new offer for new members. Starting today for a limited time, you can sign up for Xbox Game Pass and receive your first full month for just $1. With a growing catalog of over 100 great games and new titles added every month, now is a great time to become an Xbox Game Pass member.

For a complete list of all games offered through Xbox Game Pass, visit here. And be sure to check back in each month to see the newest additions to the catalog.

As an added benefit, Xbox Game Pass members can purchase all Xbox One games in the catalog – and related add-ons – at an exclusive discount, allowing you to dive deeper into the Xbox Game Pass titles you love most, and make them part of your permanent library.

If you haven’t tried Xbox Game Pass yet, you can play free for 14 days.
