Switch between the interconnected lives of Michael, Trevor and Franklin as they embark on a series of heists across Los Santos and Blaine County in the biggest, deepest and richest open world experience yet, with game world enhancements that include new wildlife, upgraded weather and damage effects, and an array of new details to discover.

The new generation upgrades also extend to Grand Theft Auto Online, an ever-evolving Grand Theft Auto universe. Rise through the criminal ranks by banding together to complete Jobs for cash, purchase properties, vehicles and character upgrades, compete in traditional competitive modes, or create your own content to play and share with the Grand Theft Auto community.

All new content and gameplay created since the launch of Grand Theft Auto Online, including an extensive array of new Jobs, an arsenal of new weapons, scores of new vehicles, new properties and player customization will also be available for the PS4, Xbox One and PC with much more to come. In addition, the current community of players will have the ability to transfer their Grand Theft Auto Online characters and progression to their choice of PS4, Xbox One or PC.

The vehicular mayhem continues in GTA Online this week with the arrival of Buzzer Beater, the newest mode for Arena War that pits players in a race against each other and time by collecting checkpoints to survive the longest. To celebrate its arrival, players jumping into Buzzer Beater, or any Arena War mode, can earn Double GTA$ & RP this week no matter where they place.

GTA Online also welcomes a new vehicle this week in the form of the Pegassi Toros, a sleek cross between a 23rd century hyper car and an SUV, now available at Legendary Motorsport. Plus, any player logging in between now and December 24th can also look forward to unlocking the new Pegassi & Vapid T-shirts, both completely free.

The complimentary gifts don’t end there, with a suite of festive gifts arriving just in time for the holidays. Players will receive their first holiday gift of the season, a festive sweater, by logging in on Christmas Eve, and can expect to see holiday decorations through this Christmas and the new year, with the first Los Santos snowfall scheduled for this Friday.

Buzzer Beater

Buzzer Beater is the brand-new mode in Arena War, a fast-paced race against the clock and every other lunatic in a rider’s seat where your countdown ends with a serious bang.

With a looming countdown ticking ever-closer towards your explosive demise, collect checkpoints strewn across the Maze Bank Arena to add precious seconds to your lifespan. Outlast the other weasels who dare to challenge your crown and be the last rider left alive to claim victory.
