'ManMade' (ALL) Kickstarter Delayed Until May

by Rainier on March 1, 2018 @ 12:27 a.m. PST

ManMade is a VR adventure game set in an AI-ruled 2050’s dystopian world.

Artificial intelligence is part of every aspect of our lives. We trust AI with our education, health, safety, and finance. However, this comes at a cost: our freedom. It's time we take it back, but can we?

William Kaan was one of the pioneers of advanced artificial intelligence. He was living an entirely happy life, but an accident changed its course. Losing his faith in artificial intelligence, Kaan wanted to get revenge on the system that betrayed him.

ManMade shows us how other people and our choices can drastically change our lives and touches on the fear of the future and the growth of artificial intelligence.

Initially scheduled to launch towards the end of the February, ManMade's kickstarter campaign has been delayed until early May.

We decided to delay our Kickstarter launch from the end of February to May 2nd, 2018. There is a lot of effort going into completing our gameplay demo so it can launch alongside our campaign. We want our audience to experience ManMade firsthand and deliver the level of quality they expect and deserve.

Our pre-launch referral campaign is running right now and it will be extended until May 2nd. We are also adding a new prize tier: if participants reach "Disruptor" level on our campaign (referred 20 friends), they will be granted access to our gameplay demo in the first week of April.

Key Features:

  • A futuristic detective-like experience
  • A cinematic VR camera
  • Real actors, real performances
  • An official soundtrack album
  • Choices matter and offer replayability

ManMade is in development for HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, PlayStation VR, PC, and PS4 (meaning it will also be playable without VR headsets).
