'Gorogoa' (ALL) Comes To PS4 And Xbox One

by Rainier on March 20, 2018 @ 12:52 p.m. PDT

Gorogoa is a visually rich, hand-illustrated game where players rearrange a few tiles on a simple grid to solve puzzles, placing them next to or on top of one another.

Designed, developed, and illustrated by Jason Roberts, Gorogoa is a beautifully hand-drawn story suspended inside a puzzle with a completely unique mechanic. Move illustrated, animated panels around on a grid, similar to arranging framed drawings on a wall. When two drawings are correctly stacked or aligned, they fuse together to form a new scene that may be navigated as though it were a 3D space and further advance the story.

Solve puzzles and advance the story by stacking and connecting panels. Imagine pictures on a wall escaping their frames and joining together to create new impossible scenes.

Elegantly simple and yet astonishing.

Creator Jason Roberts revealed that Gorogoa is " coming soon" to PS4 and Xbox One.

Annapurna Pictures, the production company behind Zero Dark Thirty, Her, and Sausage Party, has expanded its operations with the creation of Annapurna Interactive, a division entirely dedicated to producing and publishing video games. Annapurna Interactive will focus on developing personal, emotional, and original games that push the boundaries of interactive content and encourage artists to bring new visions to the medium.

Gorogoa is currently available on Nintendo Switch, PC and iOS.
