'MXGP Pro' (ALL) Gets North American Date

by Rainier on April 25, 2018 @ 4:22 p.m. PDT

MXGP Pro is a brand-new start, designed to meet the need of the most demanding fans to relive the real spirit of motocross.

MXGP PRO is a brand-new game, designed to satisfy even the most passionate fans who want to live the Motocross experience. Based on community feedback, the title has been revamped using a new method called the mechanical approach” to deliver a more realistic feel. Players will be able to customize nearly every aspect of their bike, based on real values and metrics.

The crucial knowledge gained from previous titles in the MXGP franchise has led to this new experience, which enhances racing by refining gameplay. This is what PRO is supposed to mean, a videogame with a new soul and it will feature:

  • A new Bike Set-Up system, which enables players to customize nearly every aspect of their bike, based on real values and metrics;
  • A unique physics approach, which grants the player limitless movements with a reworked system of grips, collisions, and in air behaviors;
  • Even more realistic rider movements, integrated with the bike and affected by the bike’s impact on different terrains.

After securing the most powerful bike aligned with their riding style, all players will have access to a never-before seen tool that will help them conquer any circuit in any weather condition. This is why The Compound in MXGP Pro becomes an essential practice area. From flat terrains to the most challenging ones, The Compound is a free space to train and develop your driving skills.

 MXGP PRO will be available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC (Steam) on July 10 in the Americas.

“This year we have been able to completely redefine the physics and the entire gameplay experience of MXGP,” said Luca Simonotti, Lead Designer at Milestone. “We started from the analysis of suspension, we compared the pressure with fork extensions as well as single shock-absorbers using the same values of official MXGP athletes’ bikes; the same process has been done with the ECU mapping. Moreover, thanks to the exclusive partnership with official MXGP riders Tim Gajser, Tony Cairoli, and Gautier Paulin we have been able to receive qualitative feedbacks on areas of improvements towards the whole development process. It has been a unique experience for us to be on track with them and we are proud of the results achieved.”

Test your skills and improve yourself facing 30 different challenges. A dedicated game mode will give you the chance to learn step by step the best motocross techniques and how to make them yours.

You’ll will surely need the training if you really want to master the Pro Physics!

With MXGP Pro, we really made a huge step towards realism. With the new PRO Physics, all official contents, sponsors and riders (ALL of them), and all the details taken directly from the MXGP, this new game will test even the most skilled player.

  • Start & Braking Precision: Antonio Cairoli, nine times MXGP world champion, has worked with our team on the new Pro Physics. He’ll help you learn how to take advantage of the Starting Grid, and how to brake precisely. Be sure to clutch-control and spring at lightning speed at the beginning of the race, and brake not a second earlier or later.
  • Scrubs & Air Control: Who better than Tim Gajser, two world titles, could have helped our team while working on the Air Control? With the PRO Physics activated you’ll have a chance to manage more control on your rider while he’s in mid-air. Have fun whipping, scrubbing and passing through whoops sections like never before.
  • Cornering & Wet: When working on reproducing all the specifics of cornering, especially on wet ground, our development team had a chance to work with Gautier Paulin to get the most out of his knowledge. Feel your dirt-bike digging in the ground. Take advantage of the ruts to take corners at top speed, and take extra care: if you don’t control them, ruts can become a disadvantage!

MXGP Pro will be released on PS4, Xbox One and PC/Steam on July 10, 2018 (June 29 in Europe).
