Goodbye Kansas Game Invest continues building its portfolio of recognized game developers, as they become part owners in Uppsala based Neon Giant.

Neon Giant was founded in April 2018 by former Machine Head devs Tor Frick, Arcade Berg, Jonathan Heckley and Erik Gloersen. Together, the team has more than 70 years’ worth of experience from the gaming industry, including gaming franchises like Wolfenstein, Gears of War, DOOM and Bulletstorm. The company was founded with a clear ambition; to create world class gaming experiences with a small team, by using smart development methods and establishing a close relationship and dialogue with the gamers themselves.

"Neon Giant consists of a real dream team that not only has enormous experience, they are also have an incredibly efficient working process. I usually explain that we first and foremost invest in people, no matter how promising their game projects in development are. Neon Giant is a perfect example of this, but they coincidently also have something great in the works – I’m convinced that their first release will be a milestone in Swedish game development, says Per-Arne Lundberg, CEO of Goodbye Kansas Game Invest.

The team behind Neon Giant consists of 4 people and they are located in an old church in Uppsala, where the studio has ample space for a rapid expansion. They will officially launch the new studio and web page at Nordic Game 2018, May 23rd – 25th in Malmö.

Neon Giant Design Director Arcade Berg explains their plans for the future and what the benefits of the collaboration with Goodbye Kansas are, "Everyone at Neon Giant is excited to work with Goodbye Kansas Game Invest, as they are experts at finding good developers and start-ups, helping with reach and the big picture. With their help we can focus on what we do best, making games. We’re already hard at work on our first project and can’t wait to talk more about it in the future."
