'Fractured Lands' Comes to Steam Early Access Next Week - Screens & Trailer

In a post-apocalyptic world, road warriors must out-drive and out-gun the competition in a battle to survive.

While there’s plenty of arms to scavenge in the wastes, customizable cars are players’ most powerful weapons. Not just transport, vehicles are a seamless extension of the inventory or mounted with deadly upgrades to run down the competition to bring a new level of strategy to the Battle Royale genre.

Strewn across a harsh, post-apocalyptic wasteland lie the weapons, gear, and fuel you’ll need to earn a blood-soaked victory. Beat down, gun down, and run down the competition to be the lone warrior standing.

Rise from the ashes of a post-apocalyptic world gone mad and become a deadly road warrior. Out-drive and out-gun a myriad of survivors in high-octane multiplayer manhunts where vehicular warfare injects a breakneck sense of speed and strategy into the Battle Royale landscape. As you keep an eye and ear out for incoming attacks, a looming radioactive storm rages, capable of choking out even the toughest competitor, shifting randomly as it encroaches to bring everyone together. While this leads to thrilling firefights with conventional arms, it’s your ride that will ultimately prove to be your greatest weapon, strongest armor, and true lifeline out in the wastelands.

This makes it as integral to the experience as conventional arms, so stick to your ride, or even steal someone else’s wheels if you have to!

Fractured Lands will be available worldwide for PC in Steam Early Access starting July 31, 2018 for a promotional price of $19.99 that includes first Season content at no additional cost when it releases in the coming months.

“Fractured Lands combines our team’s extensive experience developing some of the most popular shooters in the world with a thrilling injection of vehicular combat,” said Paul Ohanian, Chief Executive Officer, Unbroken Studios. “Fused with the post-apocalypse setting, you get a heightened intensity and desperation of survival that delivers a distinct play experience and introduces a new sense of speed and strategy into the battle royale landscape that we are eager to share with the PC gaming community.”

Whether motorcycle or muscle car (or other vehicles coming down the road very soon), your ride provides additional inventory space for scavenged loot, or can be souped-up with killer upgrades like mounted guns, armored plating, and rocket boosters to tear through the opposition and traverse the harsh terrain. Watch your wheels and keep the tank full – or be prepared to steal someone else’s. At the end of it all, it comes down to staying alive by any means necessary to claim your blood-soaked victory as the last one standing.

In a broken world, danger comes from all directions. Stay alert to the rev of distant engines, gunfire, and the fall of approaching footsteps. Savage wastelanders hunt you down from every angle. You’ll need to keep an eye and ear out to take them on before they take you out. Knowing when to put pedal to the metal or jump out on foot is a calculated risk you must make. Scavenge weapons, armor, upgrades, and fuel. Stalk your enemies or make for cover and lay in wait. But don’t overlook the radioactive storm raging on the horizon. It closes in with each passing minute and will choke out even the toughest competitor.

Whether battling the elements or other wastelanders, the objective remains the same: stay alive by any means necessary in this every-man-for-himself demolition derby.
