'WWE 2K19' (ALL) Not Coming To Nintendo Switch

by Rainier on July 9, 2018 @ 1:51 a.m. PDT

WWE 2K19 is the latest installment in the wrestling game franchise.

An unparalleled in-ring competitor and distinguished personality recognized globally for his accomplishments spanning nearly two decades, “The Phenomenal One” – also a massive video game enthusiast – will usher in WWE 2K19’s worldwide marketing campaign of “Never Say Never” while inviting fans to learn more about the video game.

Last year's WWE 2K19 was released on all current gen platforms, including the Nintendo Switch, so when WWE 2K19 was revealed in May, we assumed that it would launch for the same platforms. When 2K officially announced WWE 2K19 in June however, the Nintendo Switch platform was not listed, and now we know why.

"WWE 2K19 will not be available on Nintendo Switch. 2K is focused on making the best possible experience for WWE 2K fans and will continue evaluating all opportunities to deliver the franchise across additional platforms."

WWE 2K19 is currently scheduled for worldwide release on October 9, 2018 for the PS4, Xbox and PC.
