by Rainier on Aug. 14, 2018 @ 7:42 p.m. PDT

Lost Ember is a story-driven 3rd person exploration adventure where you, as a wolf and a determined companion on your side, will unveil a story of loyalty, despair and betrayal that led to the fall of a whole world.

On your journey you are guided by a companion that used to be part of the old Inrahsi culture and witnessed the fall of his world. For thousands of years he was seeking and finally found you. Through his memories you will see what happened to the old world and learn to understand him, to finally help him on his mission.

Your ability to possess every animal in the world enables you to explore the world in a lot of different perspectives to find hidden secrets and places that played a role in the fall of the Inrahsi and hold important memories.

Developer Mooneye Studios is inviting everyone to join them in playing Lost Ember in their living room at Gamescom 2018. You can play their highly anticipated exploration adventure from the comfort of their first own booth and while you're there try your luck at the wheel of fortune that might even grant you a pre-order key for the game among other prizes.

Visit Hall 10.1 Booth A019, hang out, get hands-on with the wolf and a bunch of other animals and win some awesome prizes.

Mooneye have recently announced that the release of Lost Ember had to be moved to Spring of next year, although an Alpha version for supporters of their Kickstarter campaign is expected to be released in the next couple of weeks. The demo they're showing at gamescom will be a good chance to see how Lost Ember evolved since its official announcement in 2016.

Key Features:

  • Ability to possess every animal in the world
  • At least 8 different animals
  • 4 completely different regions
  • Planned 5 hours of gameplay

Lost Ember is in development for PS4, Xbox One and PC, scheduled for Spring 2019. A Nintendo Switch version is planned after the initial release.
