'Dark Souls: Remastered' (ALL) Nintendo Switch Network Test This Week

Dark Souls: Remastered allows players to explore the twisted ancient land of Lordran in the first title of the action role-playing series like never before.

Bandai Namco invites players back to the treacherous land of Lordran with Dark Souls: Remastered , and re-experience the genre-defining title that kicked off a worldwide gaming phenomena in stunning high-definition detail. Dark Souls: Remastered marks the Dark Souls series debut on a Nintendo platform and for the first time ever, can be played on the go with the unique capabilities of the Nintendo Switch console.

Dark Souls: Remastered enables players to explore the twisted ancient land of Lordran in the first title of the critically acclaimed action role-playing series like never before. Experience the rich world of Dark Souls in Dynamic 4K resolution when playing on a PS4 Pro, Xbox One X, and PC (Steam).  From their first timid steps to absolute mastery, players will build their characters by strategically adapting to daunting foes, exploring haunting locations, and amassing a large collection of weapons, armor, and magic spells to wield for a truly unique playstyle.

Hidden in the world of Dark Souls: Remastered are nine online covenants to uncover that will motivate your online interactions. Collaboration or confrontation, support or betrayal – which allegiance will you choose? Up to six players can join together online to help, or hurt, each other throughout their quest.

Nintendo Switch owners wanting a taste of what Dark Souls: Remastered has in store for them can get a sneak peek with a Network Test which begins Friday, September 21st and goes through Sunday, September 23rd. The test will run from 5:00pm – 9:00pm PDT each day and will be available to download starting today through the Nintendo eShop.

The Dark Souls: Remastered Network Test will take place in the Undead Parish with access to single player and multiplayer content. The full game will be available on October 19, 2018.

Please note that a subscription to Nintendo Switch Online is required to be part of the Dark Souls: Remastered Network Test. Save data from the Network Test will not carry over to the final game.

With the unique portable capabilities of the Nintendo Switch, players will be able to experience Dark Souls groundbreaking action-RPG gameplay that has inspired millions of players around the world anywhere at any time. Explore deserted castles, dark forests, decrepit towns, and many other haunting areas filled with fearsome beasts small and large. Throughout their adventures across Lordran players will build their character by strategically adapting to daunting foes while amassing a large collection of weapons, armor, magic and sorceries to wield for a truly unique playstyle.
