The greatest heroes and villains from the 50-year history of Shueisha’s influential Japanese Weekly Shonen Jump manga will battle against each other across iconic locations on Earth in this anime fighting game fan’s dream come true!
Featuring the world’s most popular and classic manga/anime franchises including Dragon Ball Z, One Piece,Naruto, and many others, players will be able to create their three-character manga/anime dream tag team and take them into battle in hyper-stylish arena brawls set against backdrops of famous landmarks around the world including New York City’s Times Square and the Matterhorn in the Alps. Utilizing Unreal Engine 4, Jump Force brings these titans of Japanese pop culture to life for the first time ever in stunning realistic detail.
The lines that separate our world from the Jump world have been blurred, with evil forces spilling into the real world to rule over humanity. The greatest heroes known to manga/anime including Goku, Luffy, Naruto, as well as many others to be announced, must join together to triumph over the forces of evil seeping in from the Jump world.
Bandai Namco has revealed 4 brand new playable characters are joining the battle in Jump Force. Yusuke and Toguro from the fan favourite classic manga Yu Yu Hakusho. In addition to Kirua and Kurapika from Hunter X Hunter.
Also announced were four brand new and original story characters designed by the one and only legendary manga artist, and creator of Dragon Ball, Akira Toriyama.
Kirua is the third son of the Zoldyck family, a family of the most infamous and deadly assassins in the world. He was expected to join them, but instead chose to chase his own fate by running away from home to become a Hunter. Kurapika also had a troubled upbringing, being the sole surviving member of his clan. Both are strong fighters that value their friends and they’ll do anything to protect them!
These four new characters join Yugi Muto, protagonist of Yu-Gi-Oh! Who was announced last week, who will also be a playable in the game fighting using his favorite summoned Duel Monsters cards.
A new real-world stage has also been unveiled, the Himeji Castle one of the most famous Japanese landmarks will become an arena for these characters to fight.
Bandai Namco also announced that the game will launch with a Season Pass, that adds nine new characters to the game’s already impressive lineup. As well as a Collector’s Edition which will come with an exclusive diorama statue that includes the three main heroes from the game; Naruto, Luffy, and Goku.
The Jump Force Collector’s Edition will include:
- A copy of JUMP FORCE.
- Season Pass, which includes 9 additional characters, that are also purchasable separately.
- 30cm exclusive Diorama of Naruto, Luffy and Goku.
- Jump Force Steel Book
- 3 Art Boards (28x28cm)
All Players that pre-order any version of the game will also receive a new lobby vehicle, as well as three exclusive avatar costumes.
A closed beta test is scheduled for Jump Force 12-14th October 2018 for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Spaces are limited and only open to members of the EP!C Rewards Club. Registration will close on 7th October, 2018 - 11:00PM BST and closed beta codes will be sent out by emails in the following days.

- CBT session #2: October 13th – 05:00 - 07:00AM BST
- CBT session #3: October 13th – 18:00 - 20:00PM BST

Jump Force will be available in Feb. 2019 for the Xbox One, PS4, and PC via Steam.
