A new game in the critically acclaimed Metroid Prime series is currently in development for the Nintendo Switch system.
Series producer Kensuke Tanabe is leading the project together with a talented new development team, and they are hard at work bringing the action, isolation, and exploration of the Metroid Prime universe to life on the Nintendo Switch.
Today Nintendo revealed that Metroid fans will have to wait "significantly" longer due to the fact that development on Metroid Prime 4 has been sent back to the drawing board and is being rebooted.
Nintendo has brought in Retro Studios to aid producer Kensuke Tanabe with the new process.
