'Spintires' Expansion Will Let You Truck Around In Chernobyl - Screens & Trailer

by Rainier on Nov. 18, 2019 @ 8:21 a.m. PST

Spintires is an off-road transport simulation where you have the opportunity to sit behind the steering wheel of different Soviet vehicles, completing missions focused around the delivery of a log cargo, to the point of their destination.

The ultimate off-road challenge, climb aboard incredibly detailed soviet inspired vehicles and venture across the rough and tough terrain motherland Russia has to offer. All machines present in Spintires are inspired by the most recognizable Soviet automobile technological achievments of the second half of the 20th century. Most of them originally designed for military purposes, still serve as technical vehicles in the most extreme forest clearance areas all around the world.

Featuring a highly unique physics-based deformable terrain and water interaction technology. Spintires boasts a quirky new experience every time you play.

Winch yourself, or friends out of a mudslinging exercise and explore the depths of Russia, finding garages and fuel stations to keep your vehicle alive - carry logs and bring them to the objectives without becoming lost or stuck in the mud. Unlock and use more capable vehicles, or install one of the vast amounts of attachments available to help you along the way.

Offering a truly immersive driving experience, watch in amazement as your vehicle becomes entangled in trees, bogged down in mud or swept away by river currents.

A physics sandbox that is vastly moddable with a huge modding community expanding the horizons every day - try some of the mods available on the Steam workshop or have a go at creating your own with the included Spintires Editor.

Oovee Games is pleased to announce an ultimate eerie expansion for Spintires, which puts you in the hot seat of a Chernobyl logger furnished with brand-new vehicles, the B-157 and B-505. Equipped with a Geiger-counter, avoid the highly radiated areas and locate the logging sites without sustaining too much damage to your vehicle.

Explore the eerie and painstakingly detailed Spintires representation of Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant, Pripyat, Red Forest, Kupsta Lake and the Duga Radar. Tackle the Chernobyl exclusive Steam Achievements and try to pinpoint the infamous “Claw of Chernobyl”.

Spintires: Chernobyl is going to be available for PC on Steam and other digital distribution platforms on December 13th.
