Each game is unconnected and will feature a brand new story, setting and new cast of characters.

In Man of Medan, four young Americans set sail on a diving trip, to find the rumored location of a WWII wreckage. As the day unfolds, and a storm rolls in, their trip soon becomes something much more sinister. Who will live? Who will die?

Players can take the role of each of the five protagonists, the four Americans and the captain of the boat, each with a different perspective. Explore and discover the mysteries of their terrifying situation, and be forced to make decisions that will change their lives forever. 

Each game is designed to be replayable, with branching storylines, paths, and numerous endings designed to keep players coming back for more. Players decisions are vital for survival of all the characters. With any combination of choices made can result in any of them surviving, dying or worse…

All existing owners of The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan, or those that purchase the game before 6th of January, will gain access to a free Friend’s Pass – allowing players to experience one full playthrough of the game via Shared Story Multiplayer with one friend that does not own the game.

To redeem the free Friend’s Pass for PS4 and Xbox One, new players need only download the Man of Medan Free Trial, and then be invited to play the Shared Story Mode by someone who already owns the full version of the game.

The Friend’s Pass will no longer be usable after completing one playthrough of the Shared Story.

 

In addition, The Curator's Cut, an alternative viewpoint, providing additional scenes, that unlocks after completing the main story once is now available for everyone to enjoy!
