Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is built from the ground up and remasters the original Crash racing game by bringing the characters, karts, tracks and arenas to modern console HD graphics. Fans will be able to see Crash and friends’ expressions and antics in beautiful detail as they blast each other with power-ups and whiz around the corners in all the original racetracks.

The stakes are high and the competition is fierce as players race with a variety of Crash Bandicoot series characters, including Crash, Coco, Dr. Neo Cortex and others against the egomaniacal Nitros Oxide to save our planet from destruction. In the new game, Adventure, Arcade Single Race and Cup Race, Time Trials and Battle Mode are back.

Play Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled single player or vs. friends both online and offline.

Starting on Nov. 8, players that take on this electrifying Grand Prix season will be able to race around the bombastic new track, Koala Carnival as they complete challenges to earn Nitro. With this free Grand Prix, more characters from the Crash universe are slated to enter the race and exciting items fill the Nitro Gauge reward set.  But that’s not all, there’s a new game mode that will test your mettle, and a special (ahem) chicken makes his royal appearance!

As always, new karts will give you a thrill and tons of new skins, wheels, decals, stickers and animated paint jobs will let you showcase your colorful style.

The Neon Circus Grand Prix includes: 

• NEW TRACK: Koala Kong is the master of ceremonies for this brand-new track, Koala Carnival! It’s a death-defying big top spectacle, done the way only Koala can.
• NEW GAME MODE: Hit those curves, secure those straightaways, tighten your path with Ring Rally, a new game mode in Local Arcade! Master each track and complete Ring Rally challenges to earn Nitro.
• NEW CHARACTERS: Crash Tag Team racers Pasadena O’Possum and Ebenezer Von Clutch bring the heat to the Pit Stop this season, and everyone’s favorite strongman, Koala Kong, headlines the Nitro Gauge reward set.
• NEW KARTS: Go off the rails with the Nitro Bumper Kart, relive the Crash Tag Team Racing days with the Pressurizer and take some risks with the Daredevil!
• PIT STOP: Put on a show with tons of new Pit Stop items, including Circus-themed Skins, Neon Wheels, and, for the first time, animated Paint Jobs!
• ROYAL POULTRY: Head over to the Adventure Mode, explore each of the Hub Worlds, collect the hidden Golden Eggs and unlock King Chicken!
• CHAMPION KART AND DECAL: Finish in the top 5 percent of the Grand Prix leaderboards and win the Champion Kart and Neon Circus signature decal!

For the first time, Crash Team Racing fans will have the opportunity to customize their karts and characters in Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled!

Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled will offer players a variety of ways to mix and match kart bodies, wheels, paint jobs, stickers, and even add decals to karts. Now fans – both new and those who first fell in love with the ’90s classic -- can create a sweet looking ride! What’s more, karts from Crash Tag Team Racing will be available in the new game.

In addition to the ability to customized karts, Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled will also let players customize their racers. Yes, lead developer Beenox is adding N. sane character skins to the remastered game. This will allow players to adorn their characters with a zany sense of swag and personality - Boo-ya! Also new to the CTR experience are unique podium animations available to certain skins making celebrating victories even more amazing. And if that wasn’t enough, characters from Crash Nitro Kart will be available in the new game.

Players will earn customization items by playing through the Adventure Mode and also by collecting in-game Wumpa Coins to swag out their kart and characters in the game’s Pit Stop area. What’s more, character stats, just as you remember are returning and will include Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced classes. So, whether you are a first-time racer, or a pro eager to put your skills to the test again, the wait is almost over!

For the first time ever, purchasers of the remastered game will be able to take part in free bonus seasonal content with its Grand Prix in-game offerings post launch. Giving gamers another reason to play, the first Grand Prix will kick off on July 3, 2019, and will include a new track for all players, unlockable characters, karts and various customization items.
