Introducing a fantasy version of the American Roaring Twenties period, Pendula Swing features goblins, dwarves and orcs in a unique Tolkien meets The Great Gatsby setting. The first episode of Pendula Swing will be offered for free and the second will be priced at $4.99, with a remaining five episodes rolling out over the course of the next year.

The first episode, “Tired and Retired” introduces the protagonist, Brialynne Donu Tenúm, a once famous dwarven hero who saved the world 400 years ago and is forced to interrupt her indefinite retirement when she discovers that an important artifact has been stolen. But she no longer recognizes the world she returns to: full of strange music, completely new and flamboyant fashion, fast moving steel horses as well as goblins and orcs roaming the streets in broad daylight. Players must unlock areas of the town of Duberdon to solve problems and help Brialynne make heads or tails of this new world in order to find and recover her axe, which turns out to be much harder than she had anticipated…

Pendula Swing Episode 4 – “No Silver Spoons” brings Brialynne to Old Town, a familiar part of Duberdon now in great disrepair, where she continues to search for her axe. In “No Silver Spoon”, players come face to face with the poverty of the 1920s – but also kindness and generosity. Desperation and hope walk side by side among the most disadvantaged minorities in Duberdon.

Pendula Swing Episode 4 – “No Silver Spoons” will require Episode 1 – Tired & Retired, which has been doubled in content, substantially improved and can be played for free
