Darkwood is a game about survival, exploration and fear, set in a mysterious forest somewhere in the territory of the Soviet Bloc. It is a top-down, open wo rld surreal horror experience with a randomized world. By blending RPG, roguelike and adventure elements together with a challenging difficulty, Darkwood aims to please players craving for a deep, atmospheric and rewarding experience.

When confronted with a unknown entity, you are forced to decide: run for it, or make a stand and fight. Even simple actions that seem to only exist in the gameplay itself can make a impact on Darkwood's world, resonating through eternity, like a church bell in an otherwordly plane.

Darkwood is currently available for PC (Steam), and will be coming to PS4 (May 14), Nintendo Switch (May 16) and Xbox One (May 17).

Acid Wizard Studio will debut its official console announcement trailer later today at 10.30AM ET.
