Vince DiCola is an Italian American platinum selling artist. He co-composed eight songs for the John Travolta starring and Sylvester Stallone directed film, STAYING ALIVE in 1983. DiCola and co-composer Frank Stallone received a Grammy nomination for their work on STAYING ALIVE in the category of Best Album of Original Score written for a Motion Picture or Television Special. Vince was also nominated for a Golden Globe for the song, “Far From Over”.
In 1985, Vince’s soundtrack to ROCKY IV went platinum with over one million copies sold. Vince’s cues from this classic selling soundtrack have been used in radio spots, TV commercials, sports programs, other outlets as well as everyone’s workout playlist for over three decades.
One year later DiCola had another hit with THE TRANSFORMERS: THE MOVIE soundtrack, which included cues from his score as well as the popular song “Dare”. For many years Vince has been hearing, “You scored my childhood” from adults who were kids in the 80’s. A few years ago, Intrada Records released expanded scores for ROCKY IV & THE TRANSFORMERS: THE MOVIE.
Vince continues to work and most recently has worked on several hit video games with his colleague Kenny Meriedeth including ‘Angry Birds Transformers’, ‘Transformers Devastation’, ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ to name a few.
In 2018, DiCola put on a very well attended concert of his film and TV work as well as other songs he’s composed at the world famous Whiskey A Go-Go venue on the legendary Sunset Strip in Los Angeles. People flew in from all over the world to attend this special concert, which also featured Cody Carpenter on keyboard. Vince also enjoys guest performing with bands on their own albums. In July of this year, Vince will be a guest at Andy McKee’s Musicarium in Petaluma, CA. Vince will be honored at the 13th Annual Fimucité festival in the Canary Islands in September & will be teaching master classes there as well. For fans of his music, you’ll be treated to the ROCKY IV world premiere suite at Fimucité!
Kingdom of Night Local Co-op achievement allows two friends to sit down and play the game at the same time. John is joined by his neighbor and friend from school, Timothy, and each player is able to choose their own class, level up, and collect their own loot. Players will share quest notes and screen space. The camera will follow and move forward with Player One. Two-player save files are permanent; there is no continuing the game when your partner is away. Local co-op also increases the difficulty and number of enemies, with bosses more difficult, requiring teamwork to defeat.
The Class Pack achievement unlocked two additional classes for John and Timothy to undertake, bringing the total number to 9. There are three melee classes: Rogue, Barbarian and Knight, three ranged classes: Gadgeteer, Hunter and Demon Slayer, and three magic classes: Sorcerer, Necromancer and Wizard, each with their own unique attributes and abilities.
Kingdom of Night is in development for PC (Steam), Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One.
