The gibbous moon seems to be sneering at you. You hear howls far ahead — who knows what kind of foul creature lurks in the darkness. Panting, you fumble in your pockets looking for cartridges, your back pressed against the door as if this simple sheet of wood were enough to keep the horror at bay. You try to put yourself together. Since you found that accursed book, you always knew it would come to this. The voices in your head told you so. You can't really stop the Old Ones, not for good. In the end, someday, they will enter this world and everything will be lost. You pump your shotgun, kick the door open and charge howling, firing at the cultists, who die invoking their evil masters' names. Death and madness await you, but maybe you can delay the inevitable...

Lovecraft’s Untold Stories is an action RPG with rogue-like elements. You explore randomly generated levels based in H.P. Lovecraft stories, fighting cultists and all kinds of monsters from the Myths, improving your skills, weapons, and gear, looking for clues and information about the Old Ones and the Outer Gods, and solving puzzles and challenges. You have to find a way to foil the Old Ones’ plans – but the path is yours to choose, and brute force may not always be the best solution. Will you search for clues and information to stop the cultists before they summon the Outer Gods, or will you just kill everything on your way, until there’s no one left to invoke the cosmic horrors to our world?
