The word “ININ” comes from the Japanese and means “emissary” – the ININ logo will guarantee quality, because only high-quality retro, indie and arcade titles will retail under the new label.
United Games already picked up the retro boom trend with the founding of Strictly Limited Games. While Strictly Limited Games specializes in the publication of limited editions of retro and independent games for collectors, ININ will focus completely on the global marketing of outstanding retro, indie and arcade gems through retail and the Sony and Nintendo digital stores, exclusively publishing special representatives of the craft and world-famous IPs.
One of the first releases will be the previously unpublished game Ultracore, made by Swedish video game developer Digital Illusions (also known as DICE). The game has been extensively refurbished and will be available digitally on current platforms this year. The United Games family has secured more well-known IPs, which should make quite a splash in the coming months.
