Gears 5 is the next installment in the action series that revolutionized third-person shooters. Kait Diaz, who had previously fought alongside JD and Del in Gears 4, is the protagonist in Gears 5.The world is crumbling. Humanity's reliance on technology has become their downfall and enemies are uniting to wipe out all survivors.
As Kait you must journey across the biggest, most beautiful Gears world to uncover the origins of the Locust, and fight with your squad to protect what's left.
Officially E3 does not start next week Tuesday June 11, but as is customary the days prior a lot of major publishers and platform holders are having their pre-e3 briefings, with EA starting on Saturday June 8th.
As such several banners are already adorning the Staples center, one of them showing Gears 5, coming Fall 2019 on Xbox Game Pass.
Previous leaks had revealed a September 10, 2019 release date so that rumor might very well turn out to be correct.
