In the grim darkness of the distant future, there are only goats.
It all started with a freak nuclear accident that gave all goats the necessary intelligence to quickly overthrow their human owners with their powerful rams, high jumps, and ear-blowing bleats. No, wait, that wasn’t it. The goats were intelligent from the very beginning, but since they had no thumbs, they waited patiently for humanity to develop automated robots capable of producing what they needed in order to... No, that doesn’t work either. In an alternate universe, goats are the mightiest warriors of the...

No nonsense: no need to master a convoluted metagame, learn different characters, combine skills, strategic team play... just devilish combat arenas, powerful weapons, and fast-paced action. Well, and lots of silly humor, crazy goatstumes (skins), and goat mechanics for you to troll your friends to your heart’s content!
Goats from the world, the time has come for you to break out of your pens, grab the deadliest weapon you can find, and slain other goats for fun!
34BigThings and Raiser Games are bleating happy to announce that Goat of Duty will be released on Steam Early Access on July 10th for $6.99 / €6.99, localized to 10 languages (English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Russian, Polish, and Turkish).
This Early Access version of the game will include 4 game modes: Free For All, Gun Deathmatch and Herd Wars (Team Deathmatch), plus the exclusive game mode Fus Ro Arena, where players compete armed only with their horns and the Fus Ro Bleat gun. You will be able to play these modes in 6 different maps, with 7 weapons, and more than 25 different goatstumes (skins) that you can unlock as you level up in the game. Be deadly silent with Solid Goat, go berserk with Goat of War, or start a killing spree à la Tarantino with Kill Goat, because everything looks better in the goatverse!
Goat of Duty already has a thriving community of more than 23,000 goats in Discord, a meeting place for all the fighting goats of this side of the universe. This community has taken part in several closed betas; their feedback has proven vital to shape the game, and will keep being so during this Early Access stage, as you can see in this Q&A that summarizes some of the feedback which has been implemented so far.
“We’re looking forward to putting the game in our fans’ hooves”, said Ivano Zanchetta, Game Director at 34BigThings. “This period on Early Access is a great opportunity for the game to grow and evolve, and we couldn’t do so without the support of our community. Also, we had to open the bleating pens or these damned goats would have razed the place down anyway”.
