Ashes of Creation Apocalypse is the standalone prequel to MMORPG Ashes of Creation, and is both a testing ground for new systems and content, as well as a unique multi-mode battle arena game where magic, steel, and chaos reign supreme.

Pitting 100s of players at a time against each other in a massive world of high fantasy and all-out warfare, Ashes of Creation Apocalypse builds upon and refines many of the core systems at the heart of Ashes of Creation while letting players experience its stunning action and visuals right away.

Ashes of Creation Apocalypse delivers a self-contained, standalone experience for fans of competitive action, combat, and chaos. The game will launch with a full-fledged battle royale mode in which 100 players will duke it out with destructive weapons and magic until the last person is left standing. After release, new unique modes will be introduced, letting 200 players join forces in massive castle siege battles, as well as co-op horde mode missions in which small groups must fight off ravenous hordes of vicious demons.

In Apocalypse, the world of Verra is on the brink of destruction - the only way out is to be the last one standing. It is an arena-based game which will support several different game modes, including battle royale-style gameplay, castle sieges, and gigantic monster horde battles! Our high fantasy setting, the vast array of gear and spells, and our massively destructible environments make for an experience unlike anything you’ve played. Hop in, stay alive, and win the glory.

Intrepid Studios announced that Ashes of Creation Apocalypse is moving into Early Access on September 24, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. PDT through Steam or the Ashes of Creation website.

Ashes of Creation Apocalypse heading into Early Access means that persistent game servers will be online, so you can hop in and join us for Battle Royale testing at any time! As we move towards Castle Siege and Horde Mode testing, Early Access will allow us to gather valuable feedback and data from our community on the key systems that are essential to the Ashes of Creation MMORPG - whether that’s action combat, game performance, network infrastructure, user interface, or overall player experience. Getting to this phase of testing would not have been possible without all of your help so far.
