Bugsnax takes you on a whimsical adventure to Snaktooth Island, home of the legendary half-bug half-snack creatures, Bugsnax. Invited by intrepid explorer Elizabert Megafig, you arrive to discover your host nowhere to be found, her camp in shambles, and her followers scattered across the island alone... and hungry!

It's up to you to solve the mysteries of Snaktooth Island: What happened to Lizbert? What are Bugsnax and where do they come from? But most of all, why do they taste SO GOOD?  

The reveal trailer for Bugsnax features the voices of Max Mittelman (One Punch Man) as “Filbo Fiddlepie”, Helen Sadler as intrepid explorer “Elizabert Megafig”, Tom Taylorson (voice of Octodad) as the Snax in the trailer, and an original track titled “It’s Bugsnax!”  from British indie pop sensation Kero Kero Bonito. 

The fully voice acted game, featuring over a dozen professional voice actors, carries all of the weirdness and quirkiness that anchored Octodad’s success in 2014.

Developer Young Horses revealed that Bugsnax will be the first ever PS5 title made available for free to PlayStation Plus subscribers at launch.

They also revealed further details on the topic of content upgrades: Players who purchase Bugsnax for the PlayStation®4 will be able to upgrade to the PS5 version of the game for free. Those who purchase the PS5 version of Bugsnax will also own the PS4 version. However, players who redeem Bugsnax on PS5 through their PlayStation Plus subscription will not be entitled to the PS4 version.

That's not all! Preorders for a physical edition of Bugsnax on disc for PS4 and PS5, as well as other exciting pieces of official Bugsnax merchandise from Fangamer, are available now on their site. This collection includes a stylish Bugsnax Lunch Bunch t-shirt, the Snax Pak Fruits pin set, and a first look at the loveable Strabby Plush which Bugsnak fans can sign up to be notified when available to purchase. Both versions of the physical edition of Bugsnax will be available for preorder at Fangamer right now, and will also be coming to other retailers worldwide very soon.
